I was looking to buy some fish locally in my area of Texas and though I had run what seemed to be a good breeder right here in the area. Until I asked for his full stock of CA/SA and plecos that he had for sale..

Which doesn't seem bad. Until you look at http://fintique.home.texas.net/fintique update.htm which is our local fish store and see EVERYWHERE single fish that guy is trying to sell, the same size, but only $5+ more. At least I realized what he was doing before he took some of my money.

I think he was being dishonest because in most likliness as he said he was already in the san Antonio area, he was just going to buy whatever fish I wanted from the petstore and then bring it back to me and charge me the extra.

Your right he should get his extra for being the middle man. I was just really looking for just a local breeder though instead of a middle man.
I get that he was just trying to help me out, but if he wanted to be straight up and honest instead of trying to make me believe he is a breeder he could just say I can pick some up for you.
