Scared for my shrimp

I have a twenty gallon lightly planted tank with some hiding places for shrimp. I have ghost shrimp that have so far gotten along with my one 8-9 inch goldfish who has not eaten any of them or the plants. I just bought cherry shrimp (6-8) and am afraid that because they color in my goldfish might eat them even though he has never touched the ghosts. I have had my ghost shrimp for about a month. Is there anything I should do or can do?

Also, is there something better to feed my shrimp? I use shrimp pellets but I don't think they like that.

Mine eat whatever. Love flake food. And have caught the smaller ones eating the algae on the side of the tank.

i dont think he would intentially eat them but he might eat one if they are on the gravel when he sifts through it
