Scared the hell out of the Mbus

Got in a box of snails. No big deal. I put them in a tank next to a tank holding a couple of footlong Mbu puffers. When the snails started climbing the glass, the mbus hauled fishy butt for the opposite side of their tank. Can't explain it.

BTW, these cana (Pomacea canaliculata) snails are juvies. They'll hit softball size in under a year.
