is he scared, my spiny eel is allways hiding ive had this one for about a mounth and hes allways partly barried ive never seen him eat but i put bloodworms, brineshrimp and mysis shrimp in his tank but i dont know if he eat it at night or what hes in with other comunity fish so i dont know if he is just scared of fish or me

First of all, just so you know, he's not a catfish. They are "eels" so to speak.
And he isn't scared, per se, that is simply natural behavior for them. They are nocturnal, usually, and it is normal for them to "hide" during the day and come out at night. I'm sorry, but this is just normal behavior, so you won't see a lot of him, but they are really cool once they get used to their new tank.

i know thay arn't catfish but i made the thread and found out it was in the catfish section but is there any thing i can do to make him feel more comfteble
