Hi everyone.
Recently I came into possession of the fish you see in the title. The previous owner was getting rid of him. Does anyone know what type of pleco this is and some care info for him? Cause I don't know the name (the previous owner told me but I can't remember) I don't know where to look for info. He looks exactly to a T like an L25.
Thanks all!

Just found what looks to be a possible match on planet pleco, the L064? Scientific name: Pseudacanthicus cf. histrix. Any one have any ideas if this could be right?

Pics or its impossible to help with the ID

Sorry, working on good pics. He's really beat up. Just warning you. The person who had him before me had him in with some really aggressive tankmates and half of his tail fin is ripped off. I'm treating to help grow it back and prevent infection, but I'll try to get a good pic this afternoon.

You likely don't need to 'treat' and lots of times people will do more harm than good with 'treatments' as fin damage is pretty common among fish and is a normal occurrence in the wild. Fin nipping is how they communicate in the wild.
