location. the sao felix is from the sao felix. it is supposedly redder, and for the japs especially considered better because they look better specimens
huh??? sir, can you please explain what you're trying to say? do you mean that the Japanese find the Sao Felix variety better because of the more vibrant red colouration as compared to the "regular" variety? thanks.
Basically what davo is saying, (in a very poor way) is that the sao felix is an isolated variety of this species. They are more vibrant in color, and in many countries they are more sought after.
sorry you cant understand me. i will re-write it into simplar terms (i had had a few at the time).
the difference is location. The 'sao felix' L25, is located in the sao felix. it is considered redder (from other L25's that aren't found in this locality), and in japanese fishkeeping especially (and now all over the world i guess) is more valuable/sought-after due to their better colouration.
hope that clarifies
no problem. for about a 30cm one im looking at £141.84 but might be able to get it cheaper than that. for a true sao felix, im not sure. might be able to get a smaller 8cm one for about £60. if your from S.E. Asia though, im not sure but you might be able to get your fish cheaper
