I agree that it's slim like a male but I'd expect larger odontodes on the pectorals at that size. Ovipositor also looks rather short for a male.
At least to my eye. I've been wrong plenty of times before.
I'd also expect the adipose fin on a male to have more of a curvature to it and have some odontodes on it as well.

Body shape still looks female from the top but in exact science - most pseudocanthicus females have more fullness at the hips
You're right about the fullness. The head shape on this one still has me thinking female though.
It’s possible but I’d wager the other way.
