So I re-sealed my 80's no brace 90G.

Aside from my brother's learning that you push against the dull side of the razor blade, the silicone removal was time consuming but uneventful.
during the final examination using a flashlight looking for missed silicone I noticed something unusual on the other side of the glass...



No idea what they were, but they were chewing away at my stand from the inside. If I hadn't cut away the silicone who knows how long it would have been until they ate away enough for it to collapse.
I killed them with rubbing alcohol and then saturated the surrounding wood with a boric acid insect killer in case some eggs survived.
There weren't any other infestations, and there was no new activity after 2 months, so I sealed it up.

Anyone know what they were? No idea where they came from. My dad built the stand in the early 80's, and the only time it was ever outside was when we moved it here 14 years ago.
