Scats Q's

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
With my scats they are only aggressive to each other, but they are not full grown yet.Scats are best kept in groups of 3 or more to cut down aggression. The growth rate of mine have been slow from 1" to maybe 4"-5" in about 1 1/2 years. And they do love to eat they will eat anything i throw in the tank. Pellets ,flake, frozen, and live.

My silver scats, once about 10", were aggressive to a similarily shaped silver coloured fish. Dunno if it was just my pair though.

Mine are interspecific aggressive. They ignore the monos, porgies, etc. I feed mine pellets but, they also receive turnip greens, cabbage leaves, kiwi slices, elodea plants, gammarus shrimp, plankton, etc.
