Scatter like Loaches with the lights ON

How many types of Clown Loach are there. I see a lot of them for sale, for expensive amounts too. Are they worth a lot at 4" and 7" +

I mean how much is someone willing to pay or what is the standard price for a 7" Clown Loach?

Maybe I should clarify that they have a lot of Clown Loach at my LFS at 5-7" for under $30 dollars. They were trade-ins so LFS can't keep them forever.
They also have a 14" Peacock Bass for $45

Should I buy these as good investments?

It depends where your located on the exact price (supply and demand) but I would guess that 5 to 7 inch clown loaches under $30 is a good deal anywhere. I just recently bought two 6 inch CLs for $60 each. For me it was a good deal because I can never find them that big near me.

That's a killer deal. My LFS sells large (7 inch) loaches for $100 when they have them.

I'd buy the loaches just cause I'm a fan. I don't think of them as an "investment".
