Heres the schedule i have for my nile monitor

handle him evry 3 hours for 10 mins
let him swim in bathtub for 10 mins
throw in some calcium dusted crickets
clean water bowl
and let him get some basking time in

does this sound pretty good

i feed him crickets every other day.

yeah sounds good..

Young Niles are active animals that should be allowed to eat EVERY day. ;)

You handle your nile every three hours, every day? Don't you think he's gonna get stressed from that much interaction?

Here what I do with my Ackies
- Crickets, roaches, louscts everyday (more emphasis on roaches and louscts)
- 30-45 minute bath every week
- see if they are interested going out of their enclosures once a day, if they are -- I would handle them until they are ready to go back in

Of course the schedule will change when they become subadults and adults.

You think that is negative? How old are you?

I don't have a reptile, just wandered into this thread.

I'm not bein negative, I just think the nile would get stressed the hell out if your holding him every three hours............
