schneiders skink?

does anyone else here have a Schneider's skink? Ive had mine for 4-5 years now. It doesn't do much more then sun bathe or burrow and or attempt to climb glass. I'd post pics but my digi cam is broken

Never had one before but I did have a Emerald tree skink. What's your basking temperature?

normally around 85-95 Fahrenheit

Thats not bad, I mean you had him for a while. But I read that the basking temp should be around 95-105 degrees F. I don't know enough about this species, but if you were to raise the temp, maybe your skink would become more active. It wouldn't be hard to find out.

yea they are really interesting, mine is really skiddish because the previous owners' wife wudnt let him keep it at home so he kept it at his police station in NYC(aka really hectic) places, just so happens my dad worked same precinct and the owner got transfered and didnt want to deal with it, it also just so happened it was around my b-day so pops brought it home.
