i got fresh watter tank. Has a jurnse catfish and a african lungfish. in it right now. Is there any eels i can put with them? Tanks 6 foot by 2 foot

Both of those will make short work of spiney eels, and I"m not sure if swamp eels would co-habitate well either. African lungs and Jurs can both be fairly aggressive and get large enough to eat many other fish.

always a good call.. but yeah from what I've seen/heard with african lungs some will go blitzkreig on your tank one day.. never had a Jur but did raise a TSN for awhile. I would hit-up the catfish forum for some more educated oppinions w/ this one. eels are like spaghetti to these guys. I may be wrong about Jurs.. but I imagine they're not much less aggressive. I would def hesitate before adding any eel to that set-up w/out some kinda back-up plan if it didn't work, or the knowledge it may potentially become food. You never know sometimes unless you try, but I would slap a warning sign on the combo. also at the size of the lung. I wouldn't add anything smaller 'n 14"+Laticauda;4852505; said:
