So my hood lighting assembly decided to burn out, taking the bulb with it. I got a new light but im not too sure on a bulb, its a single light t8 assembly for a 40g. I just got in my victorian haps and i really want to bring out the color in them. The male is red/green/blue. What would be the best bulb to really bring out the color in them? what K should i be looking at? I bought a zoo med reef sun 50/50 bulb and while i really like the light it puts off, im not too sure on if its really bringing the most out on the fish. They are still juvies so they really havnt reached thier full color yet, the bulb was what they told me at the lfs but then again it was one of the more expensive.
