School pond

We setup a little pond in our ag class. Its a:
Agrimaster®

Poly - Tuf Structural Foam Stock Tank

Roughly 125 gallons


The filter is a Pondmaster 1500. Has a 500 GPH max flow. Has a 12" x 12" filter section with polyester and carbon filter pads, that connects to a magnetic drive pump with a plastic hose, then it has like a fountain.

Right now we have 12 little 1.5" common goldfish. I was wanting to get one or two little 5 inch koi.

Cool, What's the purpose of the pond?

What grade are you in? (just wondering how big the koi would be when you graduate ).

Last year we ha a bigger setup. The tank was 1250 gallons. We just setup the little one yesterday when my teacher was gone and we had a sub. I am a senior so they wouldn''t be in there too long.

That is a possibility. Tonight i picked up 8: 3 inch goldfish and 1: 4.5" koi. And no the 1250 gal. isn't setup and he said he doesnt want to set it up

i picked up two more koi. A 4.5 inch orange and white one, and a 4 inch all white butterfly. Im taking the big goldfish to school tommorrow, and if everyhthing goes well, i will take the koi next week or so.
