I have to go back to school tomorrow...at a new school, for my senior year. Kinda ****ty. They just decided it'd be a great idea to build a new school for $60,000,000, tear down the old school, and make everyone from the old one go to the new one... for three years, and then the new one will be open along with the old remodeled one... What the hell?

Yea I had something similar. Same principal for my sophmore and junior year but my junior high principal transfer to the high school my senior year and was there for graduation. I was pretty pissed cuz the guy is a d!ck.
Like it's neat because I'll be the "first graduating class" at this school.. but they aren't counting it as the new school. Technically, the new school is called "Parker High School". And the OLD high school was "Howell High School"... so insted of just saying we go to Parker High now.. they say "Howell High at the Parker Campus". And it's a really badass school.. we have Minitory Report-style lockers.. we just shine our ID infront of a little laser thing, and that opens our lockers.. which is neat, but kinda unnessecary to me. I see it being clogged with gum in 3 days. The thing is friggin' HUGE, but the layout is totally ridiculous. My new school on Wikipeida.
To top it off, they're doing this "Flex Scheduling" thing.. which means we don't have to go from 6AM to 2PM like we used to. We have like 10 different options. My schedule is alternating, where somedays I start at 11AM, and some days I start at 7AM.. and then the next week it switches. So when I went at 11AM, I'd go at 7AM, and vice versa. And then one week, I don't have a 1st hour, and then the next week I do. And my schedule was considered a "simple schedule". The "complex schedules" are ridiculous also. I know a kid who goes from 7AM to 10PM everyday, 6 days a week, and then he gets off like 3 months before everyone else does. I know another kid who goes year round, for like 3 hours a day. I can only IMAGINE tomorrow. Kids are going to be showing up 5 hours early, and some kids won't even show since they didn't think they had to that day..

Damn,lol,that sounds weird the only good thing seems to be the locker,but if someone took your id card they could open it =(. Having zero hour and out of school classes is as complicated as it gets here. Why are they building a fancy new school instead of looking at the educational flaws,I don't think it will help.
Sounds like a great school but the 6-2 hours are way too long. Even if that was before hand. I only do 8:25-2:35. 6 Hours really.
