Ok, so I have a 75 with a 9" male JD a 10" sun cat,a 10" brown bullhead, and a 9" delhezi bichir. I would like some activity from like some type of schooling fish just the problem is these guys like to eat, and they all have big mouths and even bigger stomachs. is there anything i can add to the tank to make it a little more active that wont get eaten right away?

My humble suggestion is that your really pushing the envelope with all those in only a 75- with adding more.

Think of swimming levels top middle bottom. Your top and most of th middle is probably free

Danios, top

tetras, silver dollars middle

These have survived my jacks and oscar tanks Too quick and they add color and movement-- Good luck man!

yeas thanks i realize the biomass already in my tank, i think ill probably go with the danios, they are pretty quick, and relatively cheap. Im not going to go buy some aussie rainbows for them to become a nice expensive snack for these guys haaha

my jd is only 6" and its eatin every school ive added, giant danios, tiger barbs, odessa barbs, buenos aires tetras, clown loaches.... add w/ caution lol

your catfish will eat the dianos... u need bigger dithers like silver dollars.... to bad the tank is too small to accommodate a school of the large dithers you need

you can try a single pink tail chaleus....he too will out grow your tank but not for sometime.
