schooling fish for my fish tank :) !!

[What is a fish??]

Hello guys i have a 50 gallon with a oscar, Jack Dempsey, Jade eye and angelfish. Its a 50 gallon tank and i am looking for some kind of school/tiger barb kinda fish to go in it. I wanted to get some tiger barbs but apparently they are really bad fin nippers and i dont want that. Let me know some of your suggestions.

And yes a oscar and a jack dempsey in a 50 gallon. when they grow a little big they will be re-homed. Let me know your suggestion for schooling fish.

Geographically correct Tetras, or live bearers could work, the only problem is that in such a small tank, they would all be too easily cornered, and eaten if not large enough, but adding the type fish large enough to not be considered snacks, to that size tank, will drive down water quality and lead to chronic illness levels.

Have you ever kept cichlids with tiger bards, if so what kind and how did it go ?

I'm very anal about biotopes, so keeping Asian species like Tiger Barbs, with American species goes against my grain.
I did try it once, many years ago, before I became so anal about geographic correctness, and found the barbs to be nippy, especially with angelfish, reducing those angels long, fin trailers to nubs.
