Hello everyone I have a 75 gallon tank with a Rhino Pleco (8-9"), Sveni Dwarf Pike Cichlid (about 9-10") and an AT Datnoid (4-5"). It also has 3 large Red Flame Swords planted in the tank. I'm looking for a medium-large sized schooling fish that will be able to fill out my tank but also be too big to get eaten. My original thought was about 6-7 silver dollars however those fish ruin plants since they are herbivores. Any recommendations? I was also contemplating roseline sharks but they might be too small. Any help is appreciated thanks!

Have no experience with pikes, but by waht I've seen online.
A 9-10" Pike could easily devour a 3" Fish.
3" Is like the max a tetra or most of the schooling fish get upto.
So you have a very narrow spectrum for fish. I'll say adult dennison barbs or bosemani rainbows, could even try out giant danios for sometime to check if the pike attacks them.
Also once that dat grows evey fish you add that max out at 4-6" Is in danger.

With the stock already there, there is no much additional space. Tetras that can work (for now) include Buenos Aires tetras, Colombian red and blue, or one or another Astyanax. However all of those like to be in groups and a 75g is smallish. It is not a good tank for a dat —> Once it gets to a good size, all bets are off for others and even then, it won’t be happy.

Its an American Tiger it will max out around 10”-12” in captivity
