Schooling fish suggestions for a 125g

Looking to get some schooling fish for a 125g my lady and I are going to start here soon.

Thought pacu might work until we looked into it more. Not a good idea. Haha

Any suggestions as to a school that would make a good addition?

Are you looking to keep bigger fish also? As Ilikebichirs mentioned, silver dollars variety are awesome and are great dithers/target fish. Much bigger then other common schoolers so they're more compatible with bigger fish.

I have red eyes, buenos aires, and Colombian tetras in my 125. Out of the three, Buenos aires are the biggest and only occasionally stick together when they are scared. The other two are great schoolers. I personally like the Colombians the best, bright red, blue colors, roam the entire tank, and a bit bigger then the red eyes. The red eyes kind of just stick to a certain areas of the tank.
