hey all, would really appreciate it if yall could recommend fishes which can be kept together with a flag tail and an NTT, allowing them to school together for the main purpose of reducing shyness in the NTT?

Silver dollars.

What about my bioload though? 4 or more silver dollars would definitely be a little to many fishes
I don’t know ur tank too well and stock. Yea..if you think it’s too many then try smaller roselines or teardrop barbs. They may not last long once the other fish get bigger.

SDs are a much lighter bioload then cichlids of equal size, as they're so thin. They also eat less messily, and may even help your bioload by picking up scraps.

Is there a particular SD species you're referring to, or will any SD like a red hook or blue hook do? Also, are there alternative fishes to SDs? Thank you.
