I am trying to find the scientific name for what I believe is referred to as a Pearl Zebra, shown below. When I Google this, I see the name ‘Metriaclima Callainos’ used, which I know is the Cobalt Blue Zebra. Any help is appreciated.

Both are metriaclima callainos. The collection point tells you the color of the males...for example Nkhata Bay for the cobalt and Kirondo for the pearl. The pearl fish are from the northern end of the lake. This is why buying fish with the collection point is important.

Thank you very much for this helpful information. Unfortunately, I have never seen collection points mentioned in any of my local fish stores. I agree this would be very helpful.

Online vendors are the way to go for quality and variety. I see both of these collection points available at this time on the lists.
