Scientists discover rare marine species

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
That's really cool worm we've just scratched the surface of the really deep parts of the ocean. We know more about the surface of Mars than we do the depths of our own world.

And as men, we understand more about Mars, and the deep ocean than we do about women. LOL

seems like this is a mods-only discussion. Until now. Very good find, I check yahoo news several times a day.
LOL Ewurm, Man has only searched 1% of the deep ocean, yet we know more about it than we know of women.... Ouch.
How I'd love to be a marine Biologist and get paid to travel the world and discover new animals...

Yeah you get paid, but apparently it isn't much.

I would guess probably about as many as have been discovered so far when you consider the deep oceans, artic regions and other remote areas. Hard to say what we might find.

seem to average about 40 new discriptions of fish every month that i can find... and probably a lot more too. It's at least one for every day. I know this is different to "discovering" though, but still... astonishing rate.

I wonder how many of these deep ocean ,"rare" finds are really rather common . Well as common as possible in a low energy environment anyway.
