I recently put a flagtail in my tank thinking it would be okay with my setup but my jardini is biting him now. I have no other tank to put him in, just wondering what else i could do? I have seen scleropages jardini's in a tank with a flagtail and see a jardini in the shop with a intense orange asian arowana.

You have to do something or that flagtail is going to be harassed to death by the jar. For now I would divide the tank with eggcrate, you're going to have to make a decision on which to keep.

Only choice is to separate the fish. Do a little more indepth research before adding tankmates with jardini, for the most part they are killers.

yeah i know :( the flagtail has marks on it and the shop wont take him back like that. they had a jardini with a flagtail in the display tank too! i had to keep him in a large bag resting in the top of the tank with a air stone in the bag for the night, but ile have to give him away to a better home. thats £40 down the drain

i know, its horrible, if i put the fish in a tub it would die, i have no other heaters. the bag is very big and is laying in my tank, plus im changing his water often
