Just a little update on my rays. :)

They are all doing super and growing well. I hope to have their new tanks (and my room) done soon. :)

The video is showing my rays eating bloodworms.

Also, most of the algee is gone now. ;)

Wow very nice collection, But according to the symposium those are not true hystrix anymore. The Real ones are out of Argentina and the reason they were called/described as hystrix is because of a drawing from the 1800's that compared the two. The pic of the true hystrix can be seen in the aqualog book on page. 83 as the two rays hanging on the wooden poll. So with that said and from what Frank Schafer told me is that the ones out of brazil are currently a undescribed/unnamed species and so are many out of the book and it may take many years to get positive Id's all depending on the research done in S.A.
 
Yeah it kinda left me cross eyed also but got it cleared up once I spoke with Frank. And I would also Like to say is that Frank is the man when it comes to fish in general. I could'nt beleive how much he knew:WHOA:.

But im gonna call them hystrix, untill they are discribed. :)
