Looking at bringing in some small rays but not sure whether Histrix or Scobina.??? What would you guys have to say pros and cons for each type? When it comes to getting them to transfer onto new foods and sensitivity? Open to all info. Thanks to all

if you can get scobina i would say that. but most people cant so you might be stuck with the hystrix. but thats not a bad thing either.

From a rarity point of view Scobina probably have the edge.... just!
If we are talking about looks and grace then Hystrix are my favourite all time Stingrays, they are such amazing little rays imo.

No contest for me I'm afraid, I admire and have kept both species but if I had to choose then there is no competition ...HYSTRIX!!!!

Sorry double post again, something is going on, a few members are doing the same!

I have kept both hystrix and scobina

Chances are you won't be able to find scobina many lists say scobina but intact you will probably get sent totally different ray sent to you

I would say scobina stay smaller male scobina stay very small

I also like the golden colour some scobina have over the grey of a hystrix

They are both good rays but it depends on what you can find
