This morning when I turned on my vampire tetra tank light I noticed that my scomb was missing. I pretty much tore up the room looking for a body until I had to go to school. Then I thought he might be under the desk because it is open at the back, so I took out the drawers and there he was. 
I'd say he was 6-6 1/2 inches. I just got him a few weeks ago from a friend whose tank was leaking. I had a 40br for the two and I was in the middle of making the stand. Due to constant rain, I haven't had too many opportunities to paint it.
I didn't really have much time to grow attached to him, but I am still kind of upset at how he died. Now I cannot even begin to imagine what kind of tank mate I can put with my raph. The RT/YT barracudas we get are under 4" and I doubt I will ever see any payara/biara larger than 3 1/2" in a store.
