scomb growth rate

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Unless you want it to die, i wouldn'y put it in a 10 gallon tank..... A 55 gallon tank with good filteration and current is ideal. These scombs are SOFT.

It's VERY risky cuz even a scomb in the best conditions will die in around a year. Sudden death syndrome.

Any way to prevent it

it's legit unknown. maybe it's the failure of exact current and climate. As i said earlier scombs are weirdly very "weak" fish. If I were you I would get a bigger tank like a 200 gallon and get an armatus if you can find one. A scomb is a waste of money and grief IMO.

How about a tat, heard armatus can get pricey

Tats are at least alot better an a scomb. I have an armatus and they ARE very pricey but it's worth it. A tat usually is 3/4 or 2/3 of an armatus' price. But i heard that tats only live for 2 to 3 years. Armatus can live alot longer and they are stronger.
