What do you think? I bought it as a scomb and it had no color at the lfs but now after a couple of weeks I think it's a tat. Let me know what you guys think.

Thats no scomb.A tat at a scombs price should have been a pretty good come up.

its a nice TAT.;)

looks way to beefy to be a Tat. my scomb looks like a nerd compared to an armatus or Tat! beautiful looking fish my friend!!

It's about 10"-11". It looked terrible at the lfs. No color at all and after a few days it just looked completely different. Not a bad deal at $50. Thanks for confirming my thoughts. I should've taken pics when I first got it.

Yup tat ;)

Nice tat and beefy at that.

Anymore black on him and I would call it a black tail variant. But it does have a little red.

Whats his diet? He has the beefy body of a live eater.

lol. Yeah he's on the live. I've only had it for about a month now and it's been in with another tat and an armatus and that armatus will only rock the feeders so he gets them too. Also it is almost black but there is definitely some red but not nearly as red as the other tat I have. Either way for the price I paid I'm happy with the fish for sure.

Sounds great man

I had a mini shoal of 4 at one time but a 12 day power outage last winter took 3 of them. :(

Multiples is the only way to keep tats. They go from lazy and slow to semi aggressive and tank cruisers when in shoals.

And they look so much healthier and better when on live IMO.

great fish u have
