Bably Red Bellied Piranhas with a Hydrolycus Scomberoides?

Will this work? I have the Scomb now hes about 4 inches or so.

Piranhas I'm not sure how big but i can keep them in another tank temporarily until they grow.

I want to get a pair.

I think you could get away with it for a short period of time as long as the RBP's are well fed and smaller. They will probably turn into a vegematic at some point and chew up the hapless scomb.

agreed I put RBP with my armatus, they took off the armatus's tail then the next day the RBP was gone. not a good mix. scomb would have no chance after a few weeks maybe months.

GUHHH, heh nvm then.

Ive been looking for a gar for awhile now too, I figure that should work, Scomb and Gar?

Thanks for the previous replies.

no,gar tend to "like" silver fish if you know what i mean...
my old florida gars showed his liking for scombs by eating one half his size and skinning the other.
scombs are best alone IMO.

both gar and piranhas + payara or most other fish are a marriage of "till death do us part"... at the expense of payara.
