I was recently lucky (I hope) enough to come across this on a local aquarium club, my first acrylic tank!

60x18x24, acrylic is 5/16ths all the way
around except the bottom is 1/4in, has curved front corners as well! Back does seem to have a bit of a bow to it though

I paid $140 so worst case I'm not out much but am hoping I made a hell of a deal. Owner claimed to have just moved an arowana out of it too his 300 recently and says it had no issues holding water all the way full.

Tell me what you think! I have photos of the worst seams posted, as well as a bit of paint that I would like suggestions on removing.

Nice. Fill check it. Then set it up when it doesn’t leak. :headbang2

I had the exact same tank. Mine was a truvu that got off craigslist for 100. It's a great size! Looks bigger than it really is in person, because of the dimensions. I had mine for years and started to worry about the seams because during a move the top separated a little in one spot. So I ended up using it as a terrarium for a couple years. When I got back into fish I test filled it, and it had two minor leaks at the bottom (probably from being moved numerous times and bumped into more than the actual build quality failing) so I repurposed the acrylic, tore the stand down, and reused the wood and hardware to build a double stand and canopy for a 75 on the top and 40 breeder below. You got a great deal! Fill it up and if it holds water, put it into use! You will probably see some bowing of the acrylic when it's full but in my experience it's not an issue.

My multie colony is in the same tank. Free off CL. No issues in the 2.5yrs it has been running.

Crazy how much bow there is! Easily a half in front and back. You can see the top actually bowing in this picture, does this seem normal?

Very cool tank, looking forward to seeing it filled and stocked. On a different note, sick downhill sled!!

Should have a hundred or so angels in it soon! Looks like its going to end up as grow out and stocking in the garage for my angel sales until I can get a living room worthy stand made. Then my sailfin gets some more room for a bit!

Thanks! That's the primary passion.
