We went to the LFS the other day and told them we were looking for a new filter, the magnum 350 isn't keeping the tank clean. He asked if we bought the magnum there and we said that we thought so and he said "let me check something out". He came back in and said "for you guys, I can give you 40% off on this one"... A Fluval FX5... So we got it out the door for a whopping $171.00!! Oh , and in about 2 hours our 125g was sparkling clean!

nope.

I dont know about the eheim, but I'm sure theyre better than the XP3, I'm not super impressed with mine.

Yeah, the XPIII aren't all that i thought they were gonna be, but for smaller tankz they work great! I have an XPIII on a 75gal!! HAHA! I think if you put two to each tank it would be pimpin....

ha ha thats what i did with my two fluvals put them on a 55g i love my eheims
