Anyone from Scotland one here? If so where and what fish shops do you like using?

Personally I have a few I use depending what I want, I stay in Fife and use:

Kirkcaldy pet shop - On the high street, fish are cheap, not great quality but good for pond fillers/feeders, 25 goldfish for £9! Can't go wrong and terrapins love them! 4/10

House of Pisces - Dundee - Good fish shop, very big with a lot of things for sale however prices are either through the roof or banging average, only thing that puts me off. But for general variety they are great.6/10

Strictly Aquatics - kirkcaldy - This is a new shop which has opened in the Harbour area in Kirkcaldy, they also have a reptile shop 2 doors down. This shop is by far my favourite. The guy who runs the shop is great and so are the staff. The tanks are always in great condition and they always have good oddball stuff in. 10/10

Other than these ones been to Cupar ones a few times but not overly impressed. Let me know if there are any good ones I am missing out on!

Thanks

Graeme

Alright! Scotland Rocks but it's pretty rubbish for LFS! I'm down in Southampton. Hampshire is a dream for a fish keeper! So many awesome shops.

I was born In Greenock, parents live there. Hope to live there again one day!

really?! im in fareham! lol

theres a few from scotland on here...cant remember names right now though lol only just got back in to coming on here.

I'm staying in Edinburgh just now, but originally from the west coast. Both of which seem to be rubbish for fish compared to England. Dobbies garden centre has a few things but nothing very professional. Pets at home is dire and so are most of the others I've been to in the city centre. If you want bigger than 200L tank you have no chance!

Even the FX5 filter I got new from ebay for £130 was priced at £300 here in the city centre! I just laughed and hung up.

you should try aquatic rooms in leith or aquadabra most places in edinburgh should order stuff in for you
when i kept fish i bought all my fish online.

I went to a place near meadowbank shopping centre. It was pretty small inside and only sold tiny few and zero tanks. Deffo need to order anything decent to get it in scotland. England is a different story, near Bristol there is about 4 or 5 good places with in a short radius, same near london etc. Guess there just isn't the market / disposable income up here for that sort of thing.
