There's seems to be a scratch on his right eye right on the dome part, i'm not sure what part of the eye thats called. It doesnt seem to be a deep scratch, just very first outer layer of the eye. Is this recoverable/healable or is it scarred for life?

I have had several fish that has a damaged eye, some have recovered like my archerfish that had scratched its eye over my net while transfering him to another tank, his eyes have popped like ive never imagined its so big ,then it recovered after 8 months, while my snakehead had lose its eye due to an anchor worm, lesson here is never pull them when its in the eye!

IME, I have learned at times that not doing anything, could actually be best for the injured fish. Sometimes, using meds to treat a fish can or may be causing more damage, than good.

I have had several fish in the past, get their eye(s) injured, scraped, bit, cloud-up and swell. Most of them all fully recovered. The only fish that didn't fully recover was a wolffish that lost his eye, only because i was careless enought not to have a heater cover/protector/sleeve on my heater?!! :(

In your case tho, if the scratch is as minute as you say it is... honestly, I wouldn't worry about it. Just be sure to keep the water conditions and quality up. Isolate the injured fish if you have to, and if using meds is totally necessary, don't use anything that's harsh. Adding a little aquarium salt and/or Melafix can go a long ways sometimes. ;) Good luck!

Hmm... are you refering that Jester's fish has an anchorworm in his eye, rather than a scratch? Within the 8 months time span that your fish recovered... what did you do to help aid it?

Jester, without an actual picture for us to view, we can not really determine exactly what it is, or at this point... what to do? Possible to take a pic? How is it now, btw? better or worse?

there are somethings that we must do,and there are somethings that the fish will manage...if the eye will pop just wait if the fish can deal with it(maybe a week),if you will see some blood in its eye lining treat it with tetracycline, separate him, remember this is anti-biotics meaning anti-life,it kills good and bad bacteria, no different from chemotherapy so use it with correct dosage depending on your tank's dimension, you can also mix it with its food if it is still eating..

Oh I dunno how it turned into my channa being sick lol! I was just wondering if the tiny minute scratch I see on his eyeball would go away or not. Thanks for the replies.
