scratch

Hi all..I noticed that my senegal had red markings which seem to be scratch/scrape marks but im not really to sure if they are or if they're bite marks from other bichirs or cichlids in the tank ...what do you guys think? its the only one in the tank with such injuries , has this happened to anyone before cause bichirs are known for they're tough scales...any info would help, thanks

i cant see the scratches that well on your photos but i think i know what you are talking about and i too have expierienced these little red lines on the belly of one my sens. i just did a good water change and dosed the tank with some aquarium salt. it went away within 3 days.

The scratches are the red pimple like spots on the gray part of the scales...

I would put it in the hospital tank and medicate or at least so you can better observe it. I can't really tell from the picture but it might not be just scratches.
