I found a 90G tnk through a coworker for cheep and comes with a 80G sump. the tank is all glass and was used as a SW tank. I havent seen it yet but the price was impossible to pass up. I am told the glass is scratched on the inside and was wondering if there is a way to buff out the scratches or just live with them. I tried the search but didn't find what I was looking for

I have some scratches on my 130... I think I'll just learn to live with them though, seems like more effort than it is worth. If I'm going to drain the tank and all that to buff them out, might as well turn the thing around so the back is now the front

I've learned to live with them. It's usually not so bad unless you're trying to take close up pics. Then it will piss me off. Especially on my salt tank. 
you can get stuff to buff scratches out with it take a while and a bit of arm ache tho, it is like a very fine sand and you mix it with water in very very very small quantities and with a cloth and your finger you can buff them out, i would try and go to a local glass manufacture or window installation company, i work in window installation and manufacture and we have to buff scrathes out all the time
