Is there a sure fire way of removing scratches from glass tanks? I can feel these scratches with my fingernail, there are 3 along side each other and about 7-8 inches in length. I don't mind hard work and time if it makes any difference....

nope....you can try metal polishing compound but you may ended up with smaller scrathes lol..
if it's not a reef ready, can't you turn the tank around ?
