i bought the tru vu acrylic rubbimh compound for my tank. it says to use a cloth. but its a 180g and theres a part A and B. i have one of those black and decker mouse sanders. i was thinking if i wrapped it with a fiber towel would that be ok or would it mess up the tank?

I think that thing would be a bit aggressive. If your gonna try it, do a small spot on the side or back in case it rips the tank up.
I used a Craftsman 10" orbital buffer with the microfiber bonnetts and used the Novus scratch repair compounds. It worked really well. There were still a few deep scratches but once the tank was filled they were barely visible.
