I would like to know what kind of metal is the screw in driftwood that keeps it screwed to the slate?I would like to know 'cause the one i have is a square head and my square bit is stripped!!I also need to screw another peice of slate to it for it is a bit too waterlogged to sink!I need to know what kind of metal it is so when i get a replacement it wont rust!!I also wanna get it in philipps head so it wont strip again!! Thanks Guys:D

i believe its stainless steel, if the woods waterlogged then it shud sink not the other way around

Oh yeah,i was at work leaving that thread,my mind was on going home....Correction,not waterlogged enough......so just a stainless screw huh, sweet.

stainless steal my man

they also make plastice nuts and bolts. just put a hole through the wood and slate. put the bolt through and nut em' together. so to speak.

LOL, your thread title made me LMAO! I thought I might have to have it moved to the buy/sell forum.
