ive had my scromb since the 19th (its believed to be a scromb) and it hasnt eaten anything ive fed it multiple foods shows interest but doesnt eat.......... what should i try to feed it?

Yea scombs are dedicated predators. Evolution gave them those huge front teeth to help them eat live fish. Thats it live food only. For now on when you by a fish with huge teeth you know what they are for.

i no what they are for but i heard they eat worms and also no someone who feeds a 13 inch armatus pellets

Keep some small feeders in the tank with your scomb and unless something is internally wrong with it it will come around and begin to eat.It needs peaceful tankmates that wont stress it out or beat it to the food.Which store did you get it from?

I dont know what to say but test your water. My scombs ate right away, what are they in with? Let the fish get used to your tank and eat good for a while before trying to get it off guppies.

Mine never look at anything but live fish, I had a arowana that ate worms and they would fall right in front of my payara and they would never go for it.

i was just hoping i could get him off of live fish since i know people who have done it but ill give him minnows if he needs them

It may be too soon to try to get him off live.
