Hi,
I have had my Oscar and female GT since they were 1inch children, and they are now 10", and 7" respectively. They have gotten along fine their entire lives so far up until the last month; I now frequently find them locking lips and sparring.
This morning I noticed scraping on the GT's upper and lower mouth, and tattered spots on the Oscar's side fins, and the lower part if it's dorsal fin.
One of them clearly must go, and ive decided that will be the GT. I found a very suitable home at a LFS I trust fully.
However I was wondering if the fin damage to the Oscar, and the scrapes to scales on the GT's "muzzle" are likely to heal on their own without any meaningful damage or scarring long term?
No cuts are deep enough to be red or pink, just noticeably white. I think ive caught them early but I just want to be sure.
Thank you for your help
