i am going to put some large amazon frogbit and a big sword plant and maybe some potted talenthera but will my three silverdollars eat the frogbit and were can i find some small potted red talenthera?

I would say for sure your Silver dollars will eat the plants. I have 2 very large red hooks in my 300 along with other large mixed barbs and Giant Goramy's . I put all my plant trimming into this tank and they eat it up stems roots and all.
Yes. Your silverdollars will destory those plants in a matter of hours to a day. They will end the plants all the way down to the bottom. Your best bet if you want plants, is just to go get fake plants.
I have been down this road too. I have a school of 7 redhooksds and have tried various plants and setups. Save yourself a lot of heartache and get fake plants or different fish.
