As you all know, he has not been doing to good. After suggestions, I split up him and the eel. Things seemed to be going better. He started growing back his scales, and his big side fin was regrowing. But just 2 days ago things took a turn for the worst, his whole side began to loose scales, and a strange whiteish lump, almost an ulcer was on his tail fin. Yesterday, was no improvement, but he was still eating food, and had not been in contact with the eel. But, he must have gained some fungus or bacterial disease that was just to much for him.
I came home to find only one periwinkle on him, so it must not have been long before I came back that he died. Taking him out of the tank, I then found one of his eyes to be clouded. I took some post mortum pictures, and will get them up when I can. I know how to deal with pet loss, but this one will be tough because I really bonded with my lil guy, we knew eachother well. Long live the sea robin.
