Sea snakes?

Aren't sea snakes very venomous but hardly bite? I also thought they go on land at times to regulate body temperature and shed. I'm not an expert though

That does match up with what I've read and watched about them. I have friends who keep cobras, pit vipers, etcetera, but have yet to find someone who has tried sea snakes.

Not a sea snake but the trunk nosed snake is aquatic and gets big. Distributors carry them from time to time. It's also not easy to keep. Also not easy to keep IN the tank they're super strong and crafty. It also requires a lot of space, which most people find silly to house just one 6 foot long water snake. I think they're really cool but not an investment I'd want to make. I would assume a sea snake has even more issues you'd have to consider.

more commonly known as the elephant trunk snake fully aquatic and can do brackish like having an underwater python. It even sort of restricts it's prey a bit.

Haven't head of any people who kept sea snakes, but from what I know about them, is that they're highly venomous, and related to cobras. I've never kept venomous creatures, but something to know, is that sea snakes can, and will exit the water in order to lay eggs (i.e. they can move on land). THey also eat smaller fish, so probably things like clownfish and damselfish would be your best best for cheap feedings, especially if you couldn't get them on something like silversides (I assume that trying to give one a pinkie mouse would have the snake looking at you like you were stupid).
