For starters, I’m not a pro reviewer, this is my opinion take it for what you will.

I’ve been wanting to try out this test for a bit so I grabbed a box at the LFS for 15$.

Vs. an API test kit this test gave the same results.

Pros:
My arm doesn’t ache from shaking bottles.
Up to 6 tests can be done at once.
15 minutes or less.
Did I mention no shaking?
Just as accurate as the API kit

Cons: it’s not all in one but they have ammo and ph kits at 15$ each so price is really the same as a Master test kit. Plus they have a GH/KH kit too.
Also the test tray is super light and small which makes stirring the nitrate powder a bit of a struggle with large hands.

In all I would pick this setup over the API kit all day long.

One last mention of the fact you dont have to SHAKE bottles.

Ya I really disliked the shaking, API really emphasizes it so I never knew if I had shaken it enough or violently enough. Looks like I will try this.

I’d like to add that it’s perhaps not as many tests as the API kit so all in could be more expensive but the ease of the test more than makes up for that. Also both tests are on the same range of pink coloring so if you’re color blind in the red spectrum you might have a problem reading the results.
