Since I've been out of the hobby for close to ten years and just now getting my 75g up and running, I'm curious what everyone is doing about the dreaded brown algea that I'll soon be dealing with. When I was elbow deep into the hobby, I recall the never ending brown algea. While researching phosphates and what exactly it is I found out it's a major contributor of the dreaded brown plague I once dealt with. The Seachem product appears to be a pad that you either place in a canister, HOB or anywhere water can flow through it. Can I get more information on it's proper use, extended use and your experience with a product such as this pad....thanks for the input.
Seachem PhosGuard....anyone using it for algea issues?
