I'm having an issue with cyanobacteria which I believe stems from using osmecote plus root tabs for some plants that didn't work out so I ordered some phosguard since others have used it to treat cyanobacteria. I'm trying to decide where to place it in my system, wet sump. The overflow seems like a good high flow place but would it be better to place it somewhere after the filter socks? In the sump I habe a koralia 1050 pushing water across a bag of purigen and my filter socks sit in 6"pvc so I can place it in the pvc under the socks, would either of these locations be better?
