I did, however I placed a piece of filter floss at the outlet to prevent the beads from escaping.
But it gets clog every 4~5 days and I would have to change it.
Looks pretty sweet when in action, just would want to make sure you have it t'd off or maybe some type of quick connect so you could pop it off when you need to swap out the purigen.
I think you could as long as the screen was small enough that the purigen pieces didnt get out. I have a 350 at home and purgien and never thought about putting them together.
In my situation I have it floating in my sump right now which is not the best thing, but will be putting it into my fluval next cleaning. I know that it is not as good as a reactor but I also just don't want another bunch of wires. It is already cluttered enough that I wouldn't want to see more tubes or wiring.
