Seachem Purigen question

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I doubt it will work. purgren is very small partical size and is light weight.

I did, however I placed a piece of filter floss at the outlet to prevent the beads from escaping.
But it gets clog every 4~5 days and I would have to change it.

I think you could as long as the screen was small enough that the purigen pieces didnt get out. I have a 350 at home and purgien and never thought about putting them together.

In my situation I have it floating in my sump right now which is not the best thing, but will be putting it into my fluval next cleaning. I know that it is not as good as a reactor but I also just don't want another bunch of wires. It is already cluttered enough that I wouldn't want to see more tubes or wiring.
