Is this product purely an alternative to carbon? or does it help biologically?
I went to pickup some Stability from a vendor/breeder and he wouldnt stop talking about Purigen. The water clarity in all his tanks (and he had a lot) was very impressive especially given that he was using single Aqua clear's in heavy stocked tanks (i don't mean any disrespect to Aqua clear users)
He said he never used any biological media, only Purigen. I have never heard of this product before.
Anyone have any info or feedback about this product? Suggestions?
