I just bought 2 of these filters. I usually stay with Aqua Clear when it comes to hang on back filters But lfs was sold out of them. Owner said these Tital filters are just as good so I bought them. My question is that when I change my water will there be an issue with water level in the tank dropping lower that the skimmer slots. Will I have to turn the filters off? I always leave my AC filters running while changing water, as long as water level doesn’t go lower than intake tube. Don’t know if I can do that with these filters. Anyone have these type filters?

Well I’m bringing back the filters. Can’t change water without filter starting to turn off and struggle to keep water going up intake. There is a minimum water level line on filter. I am not even to change 1/4 of the water without screwing up these filters.
